Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end technology solutions for complex Platform Engineering projects, including development and execution platforms and SDLC practices.
- Lead the technical implementation of strategic client projects and coordinate internal and external development and architecture teams.
- Evaluate and adopt technologies, tools, and products that improve the software development lifecycle.
- Define and implement DevOps, CI/CD, Everything as Code, and GitOps strategies.
- Lead the construction of reusable assets for Internal Developer Platforms.
- Ensure solutions meet client and T-Systems standards for quality, security, performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to drive Platform Engineering adoption.
- Act as the client’s technical point of reference, validate proposed solutions, manage technical risks, and support project estimation and planning.
- Document technical standards and promote continuous improvement of internal engineering practices.
Requirements
- University degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- More than 10 years of experience developing and implementing complex software solutions for clients.
- At least five years of experience as a technical leader defining cloud architectures, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and working directly with clients.
- Proven experience implementing modern SDLC management platforms using Internal Developer Platforms, Everything as Code, and GitOps approaches.
- Strong experience designing and developing complex application, integration, and platform software solutions.
- Experience with microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, cloud computing, and container platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Strong command of modern programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and technical project management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary team-management skills.
- Advanced or native Spanish is required; advanced English is valued.
- Technology certifications in Backstage, Kubernetes, Terraform, or GitHub are valued.
