
Security Engineer III - Java/Python, Kubernetes

- Design and deliver secure technology solutions across multiple technical areas.
- Write, debug, maintain, and improve code in a corporate environment.
- Identify problems and data patterns to improve system architecture.
- Respond to incidents and implement fixes to restore platform stability.
- Enhance platform performance, resiliency, and operational stability in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Apply automation to reduce manual toil in the software development life cycle.
- Maintain compliance with security, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Complete formal training or certification in security engineering concepts and have 3+ years of applied experience.
- Have hands-on experience in application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Be proficient in at least one modern programming language, such as Python or Java/Spring Boot.
- Have knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security practices.
- Have experience with Kubernetes and observability tools such as Splunk or Grafana.
- Preferred: experience with data streaming frameworks, AWS services, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.
