Software Engineering PMTS - Cloud Security - Hyderabad
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Provide architectural direction and technical leadership for infrastructure security and security guardrails across teams.
- Design and build shift-left security controls for source code, Infrastructure as Code, containers, deployment configurations, CI/CD, admission, and runtime environments.
- Develop policy-as-code, security enforcement, Kubernetes admission control, and workload security capabilities.
- Build mechanisms for security finding correlation, prioritization, deduplication, and risk-based enforcement.
- Define reliability, scalability, observability, fault tolerance, rollout, and operational readiness strategies for security services.
- Own technical outcomes across requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, production readiness, rollout, and operations.
- Mentor senior engineers, establish engineering standards, and influence technical strategy across multiple engineering organizations.
- Build production-grade software and evaluate human- or AI-generated code for correctness, quality, security, and performance.
- Use AI development tools, prompt engineering, and shared system context to improve engineering effectiveness and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, or security engineering experience designing and delivering large-scale production systems.
- Strong programming experience with one or more of Go, Java, or Python.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and cloud security, with experience using AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD architecture, DevSecOps, deployment pipelines, security gates, policy enforcement, and automation.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform, Helm, or CloudFormation.
- Experience designing distributed, highly scalable, reliable, and secure systems.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability management, configuration security, policy enforcement, workload security, identity and access controls, and risk assessment.
- Demonstrated ability to drive ambiguous security problems from technical definition through architecture and implementation.
- Preferred experience includes cloud-native security, DevSecOps, infrastructure security, application security, enterprise-scale security platforms, Kubernetes admission technologies, policy-as-code, IaC security, container security, runtime security, vulnerability management, cloud security posture management, automated remediation, and developer-facing security products.
- Preferred experience includes correlating security signals and prioritizing findings based on risk, exploitability, exposure, and business impact.
- Preferred experience includes mentoring senior engineers, driving multi-team technical strategy, and building AI-first development workflows with advanced prompt engineering.
