Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain embedded Linux software platform components primarily in C++.
- Debug and troubleshoot application code, Embedded Linux, and hardware.
- Develop software and tools across embedded systems, networks, and cloud-based platforms.
- Apply secure and robust engineering practices and optimize software for resource-constrained systems.
- Participate in technical investigations, feasibility studies, requirements analysis, and software architecture decisions.
- Provide technical input to stakeholders, estimate and plan software work, and create technical documentation and instructions.
- Identify and implement improvements to work processes and methods.
Requirements
- At least five years of working experience with software design.
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent education.
- Proven competence in software design and architecture, system investigations, scalable and flexible architecture, and modern C++ programming.
- Practical experience with GitLab CI/CD, TCP/IP, CAN, secure communication protocols, microcontrollers, and low-level programming such as Cortex, ARM, or STM.
- Knowledge of module and system testing and test automation in CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience using AI-assisted software development tools and developing software for resource-constrained systems.
- Basic understanding of digital electronic design and software/hardware interaction.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and structured work skills.
