Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain embedded software for handsets, infrastructure, and personal alarm devices.
- Develop low-level drivers, hardware-near functionality, real-time software, multitasking, inter-process communication, and network communication stacks.
- Contribute to radio communication features, protocols, system architecture, technical design, requirements, and documentation.
- Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including implementation, verification, maintenance, refactoring, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with hardware, quality, and cross-functional stakeholders to investigate and resolve customer-related software issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Approximately two to five years of experience designing and developing software.
- Experience with object-oriented C++ development for embedded systems.
- Experience with real-time operating systems, multitasking, and inter-process communication.
- Experience with low-level C/C++ development for drivers and data communication.
- Experience with communication and data security protocols.
- Excellent spoken and written English and fluency in Swedish.
- Ability to analyze technical challenges, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
