Responsibilities
- Architect and implement AI-driven automation frameworks that detect and remediate cloud security misconfigurations at scale.
- Lead technical execution for a focused workstream while contributing hands-on and guiding 2–3 engineers.
- Define and drive the engineering roadmap, including SDLC practices, CI/CD, observability, business metrics, and AI-assisted development.
- Build reusable, documented internal tooling and services that scale across cloud platforms and engineering teams.
- Scope work, communicate delivery trade-offs, and align cross-functional partners on technical direction and outcomes.
- Mentor engineers and promote software quality through code reviews, design sessions, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of engineering experience.
- Python development experience building backend services and APIs, including data modeling and relational or NoSQL data stores.
- Experience building or integrating AI/LLM-based or agentic workflows into production systems using platforms such as AWS Bedrock AgentCore, Azure AI Foundry, Google Vertex AI, or equivalent.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform, including SDKs, APIs, and cloud-native service architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
- Experience with cloud-native event-driven architectures and container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
- Strong communication skills for presenting clearly to technical and business audiences.
- Experience with orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, Strands Agents, Semantic Kernel, or OpenAI Agents SDK.
- Experience delivering internal services or tooling broadly used by engineering teams.
- Cloud security experience involving controls, policy-as-code, ASPM, or CSPM tools.
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or an equivalent tool.

- Starting base salary range of $151,600.00 to $222,400.00, with location-specific ranges provided in the posting.
