Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and development of complex SAP BTP solutions supporting R&D and new product development.
- Implement SAP BTP workflows and components that improve approval cycles, governance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Develop reusable object-oriented ABAP components, web services, and SAP WebDynpro for Java applications.
- Perform performance tuning, debugging, code optimization, unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.
- Translate technical requirements into SAP designs in collaboration with product development, R&D partners, functional consultants, and business analysts.
- Review technical specifications and development standards to improve coding consistency, quality, traceability, and maintainability.
- Provide mentoring and technical guidance to developers and project members.
- Manage incident analysis and root-cause resolution for SAP ABAP and related components.
- Document solution designs, technical decisions, and configurations for knowledge continuity.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP workflow design, configuration, and customization.
- Advanced experience with object-oriented ABAP, including reusable classes, methods, and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience designing and consuming ABAP web services for system integration.
- Practical experience developing and maintaining SAP WebDynpro for Java user interfaces.
- Experience with core ABAP, classical reporting, Smart Forms, and Data Dictionary objects.
- Domain experience in research and development, technology, or new product development environments.
- SAP Certified Development Specialist BTP for SAP NetWeaver or an equivalent SAP BTP development certification is preferred.
