Base Salary
$184k - $334k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data platforms managing AI Driver data, labels, metrics, annotation, ingestion, mining, and autonomy evaluation infrastructure.
- Develop simulation systems and frameworks, including sensor simulation, scenario generation, and real-world and synthetic data solutions.
- Own technical infrastructure including generic compute platforms, large-scale storage management, cloud resource provisioning, and engineering productivity tools.
- Support mission-critical data processing, simulation, and software development workflows across Nuro’s engineering organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Go.
- Experience with one or more of large-scale distributed systems, data storage and processing systems, modern service architectures, machine learning, multithreading, x86 architecture, software performance tuning and optimization, robotics software frameworks, or CPU, GPU, and FPGA compute modalities.
