Senior Software Engineer - Backend

Responsibilities
- Design and build reliable, secure, and high-performance backend services and client libraries.
- Develop services for storing and accessing large amounts of data on AWS S3, GCS, and Azure Blob Store cloud storage backends.
- Work on distributed systems, large-scale service architecture, monitoring, workflow orchestration, and developer experience.
- Develop product features that help customers easily store and access their data.
- Participate in the entire software development cycle as a founding member of the Berlin engineering team.
Requirements
- BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of production-level experience in Java, Scala, C++, or a similar language.
- Experience developing large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with service-oriented architectures.
- Knowledge of SQL.
