Base Salary
$114k - $144k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and administer the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, including sensor health, policies, exclusions, updates, EDR/NGAV, identity, exposure, cloud security, SIEM, SOAR, and counter-adversary capabilities.
- Deploy, integrate, administer, document, and transition new cyber defense tools from proof of concept to production.
- Build and maintain log ingestion pipelines, connectors, parsing, normalization, and telemetry onboarding across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Manage platform health, patching, upgrades, configuration governance, capacity, root-cause troubleshooting, and vendor escalations.
- Automate provisioning, lifecycle policies, response workflows, and other manual processes using Fusion SOAR, scripting, and APIs.
- Partner with SOC teams to tune detections, reduce noise, standardize workflows, and improve analyst productivity.
- Manage role-based access, user and API lifecycles, and least-privilege controls across the security toolset.
- Create operational runbooks, process documentation, design write-ups, and stakeholder communications.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in security engineering, security administration, or a closely related infrastructure or operations role.
- Hands-on experience administering CrowdStrike Falcon or a comparable enterprise EDR/XDR platform at scale.
- Working knowledge of SIEM and log management, including ingestion, parsing, normalization, and querying.
- Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform and its logging and telemetry collection.
- Scripting and automation ability using Python, PowerShell, or similar tools, with comfort working with REST APIs.
- Experience with email security tooling such as Proofpoint or other cyber defense platforms.
- Fluency with AI tools and willingness to adopt AI-driven security capabilities.
- Strong troubleshooting, written communication, verbal communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with SOAR platforms, identity protection, CSPM/CNAPP, exposure or vulnerability management, new-tool implementations, deception technology, and AI/ML security tooling.
- Preferred certifications include CrowdStrike CCFA/CCFR/CCFH, AZ-500, AWS Security, GCP Security, Security+, GCIH, or GCED.
