Responsibilities
- Design and implement multimodal and multitask perception models for autonomous driving.
- Work on projects involving 3D object detection and tracking, open-vocabulary detection, 3D occupancy detection, semantic segmentation, foundation models, and self-supervised forecasting.
- Train and evaluate machine learning models using large-scale Waymo driving-log data.
- Use large-scale machine learning infrastructure and collaborate in a team environment.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Robotics, or a similar technical field, or in a master's program with a strong publication record.
- Have experience with Python.
- Have experience building machine learning models with JAX, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Preferred: strong machine learning or computer vision research, including publications at leading conferences or journals.
- Preferred: experience with object detection, segmentation, multiple-object tracking, audio perception, or occupancy detection.
