Responsibilities

  • Develop the frontend for Infineon’s in-house analog circuit simulator.
  • Develop and continuously optimize the schematic editor and waveform viewer for performance, features, and maintainability.
  • Refactor, maintain, and improve existing frontend software modules.
  • Support the worldwide user community.
  • Write technical documentation.
  • Participate in EU-funded projects relevant to Infineon’s internal simulation communities.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related area.
  • At least five years of work experience in GUI software development, electronic design automation, or a related technical area.
  • Very good programming skills with Qt and C++/C in Windows and UNIX environments.
  • Very good knowledge of UI development environments, libraries such as Boost, build environments such as CMake and QMake, parsers/scanners such as bison and flex, and interpreted programming languages such as Python and Perl.
  • Hands-on experience with analog circuit design and simulation is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with simulators such as LTspice, SIMetrix, and PSpice is beneficial.
  • Previous frontend development experience for a circuit simulator is beneficial.
  • Fluent English skills are required; German is a plus.
  • Familiarity with agile software development techniques.
