Responsibilities
- Build and evolve customer-facing products for dealer customers.
- Design and implement applications using React, TypeScript, and Node.js, with a stronger focus on frontend development.
- Own features through technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operation.
- Improve the quality, maintainability, and architecture of large existing codebases.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering colleagues to deliver pragmatic technical solutions.
- Use GenAI development tools for coding, debugging, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
- Validate AI-generated solutions and maintain high standards for quality, security, and maintainability.
- Share knowledge and contribute to technical discussions and improved engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
- Strong professional experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Strong frontend engineering experience and the ability to contribute to backend services.
- Experience working in large existing codebases and delivering maintainable, well-tested software.
- Strong understanding of application architecture, testing, code quality, and maintainability.
- Experience owning features or technical solutions from design through production.
- Ability to make pragmatic technical decisions and explain trade-offs clearly.
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams with Product, Design, and Engineering.
- Curiosity about GenAI and AI-assisted software development and willingness to learn Java and contribute to Java-based backend services.
- Strong communication skills and constructive participation in technical discussions.
- Preferred experience with Java backend services, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, Codex, LLMs, AI APIs, AWS, or B2B products.
