Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Develop robust cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers.
- Use Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Partner with architects on service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
- Identify improvement opportunities, reduce technical debt, refactor systems, and improve performance.
- Evaluate emerging tools and practices and influence long-term technology strategy.
- Mentor engineers, support professional development, and lead cross-functional engineering efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred: 7+ years coding with more than two of Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, and Scala.
- Preferred: experience with databases, cloud platforms, open source frameworks, frontend JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, synchronous and asynchronous APIs, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing frameworks, Git-based version control, and cloud troubleshooting.
- Preferred: experience with AI-based coding tools, interactive AI tooling, observability, mentoring engineers, leading large-scale initiatives, and enforcing coding standards and design patterns.
