$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement full-stack protections for the Google Search product family, primarily in Java with some JavaScript and C++.
- Analyze data to understand unauthorized access patterns and identify potential solutions.
- Participate in technical design, sprint planning, and roadmap discussions.
- Contribute to team culture, cross-functional communication, engineering processes, and team values.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
- 5 years of experience building software for data privacy or security, such as identity and access management.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in structured organizations involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in technical leadership, leading project teams, and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: experience with anti-abuse or security using Google or industry-equivalent technologies and methodologies.
Benefits
- US base pay is listed at $207000-$300000, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
