Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, configure, customize, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot features for complex web, database, and geospatial solutions.
- Build and test systems and integrations while following the government software development lifecycle framework and providing project documentation.
- Translate customer requirements into workflows and user stories, support requirements elicitation, and collaborate with business owners, analysts, and technical teams.
- Manage data flows, perform database administration with SQL, and provide performance monitoring, service configuration, security, licensing, and user-management support as needed.
- Automate analysis and reporting using scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript to support field operations.
- Develop schedules and estimated completion dates, complete work with minimal supervision, and coordinate deliverables across teams.
- Produce static and interactive cartographic products that communicate complex concepts to varied audiences.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and perform routine maintenance, enhancements, and bug fixes.
Requirements
- At least seven years of experience in IT development roles.
- At least three years of experience with relational database management systems using SQL.
- Experience developing mobile-first, responsive, dynamic, and scalable web applications.
- Knowledge of geospatial and mapping concepts, including spatial analysis and map projections.
- Excellent data management skills and experience with web APIs, responsive web interfaces, cloud platforms, accessibility tools, MVC, IIS, and related technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Public Trust clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident to meet contract requirements.
- Preferred qualifications include CDC environment and standards experience, GIS analysis experience, Agile and DevOps experience, Azure certifications, cloud architecture experience with GeoLakehouse, Apache Iceberg, Hive partitioning, and Hilbert Ordering, and experience with browser storage APIs such as OPFS.
