Responsibilities
- Deliver large software projects and new product capabilities while maintaining key code repositories.
- Modernize pipelines to scale products with company growth.
- Break down complex problems, deliver predictable solutions, and identify and resolve incident root causes.
- Collaborate on technical roadmaps and execute strategies balancing short- and long-term trade-offs.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and ongoing support.
- Integrate AI technologies to automate processes and enhance product features.
- Improve the maintainability, availability, and performance of team features and contribute to architecture and developer tooling.
- Communicate technical ideas to technical and non-technical partners and document solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least five years of non-internship full-time professional software development experience.
- Experience delivering large software projects or features in a production environment.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with agentic coding and AI tooling for coding assistance is preferred.
- Mentoring or onboarding junior engineers is preferred.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or scalable architectures is preferred.
- Experience with healthcare technology or regulated environments is preferred.
- Experience with Agile development practices is preferred.
