Responsibilities
- Provide deep technical support and implementation guidance for Fastly's security product suite.
- Act as the final technical gateway for escalated security-related cases.
- Own and troubleshoot complex customer issues in a test lab setting.
- Build internal tooling and automation to improve diagnostic efficiency.
- Aggregate technical feedback and translate it into actionable data for product teams.
- Mentor and elevate the technical skills of Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers.
Requirements
- 6-8+ years of experience in IT technical support, DevOps, or Tier-3 escalation roles focused on cybersecurity.
- Proven experience with web server platforms like Apache, NGINX, and IIS.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Node.js, or Rust.
- Deep knowledge of core internet technologies and security protocols.
- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences and translate technical issues into insights.
