Responsibilities
- Set technical direction and support engineers in delivering software effectively.
- Shape multi-year product and platform goals and address open-ended architectural challenges.
- Design, deliver, deploy, and support smaller, safer software changes.
- Improve operational visibility and reduce dependency on limited critical knowledge and production expertise.
- Build and manage software for reporting, insights, APIs, and resilience at scale.
Requirements
- Expertise designing secure, scalable distributed systems and managing software at scale.
- Proficiency with Node.js and AWS.
- Experience coaching and mentoring engineers to develop their technical capabilities.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical ideas and building alignment.
- Ability to lead incident responses, resolve failure patterns, and guide quality testing strategies is valued.
- Collaborative problem-solving approach and commitment to continuous learning, experimentation, and knowledge sharing.
