Responsibilities
- Design, code, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications.
- Write complex Microsoft SQL Server queries and stored procedures and optimize database performance.
- Apply database design, normalization, and indexing strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
- Integrate Microsoft SQL Server with application frameworks.
- Apply data security and backup strategies in Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Lead planning and execution of software development activities to meet project goals.
- Act as a subject matter expert, collaborate with and manage the team, and contribute to decisions across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members and ensure adherence to software development best practices and quality standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including complex queries, stored procedures, and database performance optimization.
- Strong knowledge of database design, normalization, and indexing strategies.
- Ability to troubleshoot database-related issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with integrating Microsoft SQL Server with application frameworks.
- Understanding of data security and backup strategies within Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- 15 years of full-time education.
