Base Salary
$163k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI-native products from prototype through scalable production services.
- Develop and productionize AI platform components involving LLMs, vector databases, prompt tuning, agentic frameworks, MCP, web browsing, and computer use.
- Iterate on AI products using performance metrics and user feedback.
- Evaluate and adopt new AI technologies and frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to translate strategic goals into technical solutions.
Requirements
- 1–3+ years of professional backend software engineering experience with technologies such as Python, Golang, gRPC, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Strong systems-level foundation in building and scaling backend services, including microservices, APIs, and concurrency.
- Experience shipping and maintaining AI-native products or features, or significant personal AI projects.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: experience with LLMs, agentic systems, Databricks, Langchain, MLFlow, advanced understanding of LLM probabilistic systems, and AI products in finance or other accuracy-sensitive domains.
