Base Salary
$131k - $285k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build foundational cloud platform capabilities such as account vending, IAM, networking primitives, quotas, and infrastructure as code.
- Own secure, cost-efficient self-service cloud tooling and paved paths for engineering teams.
- Partner with product and platform teams to solve complex cloud use cases and turn recurring solutions into platform products.
- Drive multi-cloud, cloud foundation unification, cost efficiency, and security posture initiatives across DoorDash, Deliveroo, and Wolt.
- Set technical direction, mentor engineers, and influence cloud architecture decisions.
- Improve team productivity and operational capabilities through automation and AI coding tools.
- Participate in a shared support rotation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering.
- Deep hands-on AWS experience, including IAM, Organizations, VPC, S3, and ECR; GCP experience is a plus.
- Experience with VPC, PrivateLink, Transit Gateway, and VPC peering.
- Experience with Terraform and GitOps tooling such as Atlantis or ArgoCD.
- Experience with Go and Python.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Ability to turn ambiguous customer-team problems into scalable solutions adopted across multiple teams.
- Proficiency using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor across the software development lifecycle.
- Bonus: experience building internal cloud platforms, landing zones, account vending at scale, multi-cloud workloads, cloud cost management, or vendor relationships.
