C#.NET, React, Java Full stack Lead Software Engineer
JPMorgan ChaseResponsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, stable, scalable production software solutions.
- Write high-quality production code and review and debug code written by other engineers.
- Lead adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for coding, code review, testing, refactoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Establish validation standards covering secure coding, peer review, automated testing, correctness, performance, and security of AI-generated outputs.
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring remediation and improve application and system stability.
- Lead evaluations with vendors, startups, and internal teams concerning architecture, technical capabilities, and system applicability.
- Lead Software Engineering communities of practice and promote adoption of new technologies.
- Contribute to an inclusive, diverse, respectful team culture.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 5 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more of C#/.NET, Angular, AngularJS, or React.
- Experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
- Experience designing REST-based web interfaces and APIs and working with relational and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, CockroachDB, and Cassandra.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Terraform, along with cloud development and deployment principles.
- Experience creating unit and integration test suites with JUnit and Cucumber.
- Experience using VS Code and AI tools including Copilot and Claude Code.
- Demonstrated experience leading the effective and responsible use of AI-assisted software development tools, including coaching engineers on safe and compliant adoption.
- Proficiency across the software development life cycle.
- Preferred experience with identity and access management solutions, Go, Python, Kerberos, and OAuth 2.
