Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and support software solutions used across Blackstone.
- Develop applications, services, APIs, and automation capabilities.
- Build scalable systems that process and manage large volumes of data.
- Contribute to cloud-native architectures and platform engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, data practitioners, and business stakeholders to deliver production solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and software delivery processes.
- Use firm-approved AI-assisted development tools, plugins, skills, and standards.
- Automate repetitive tasks and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or master’s student.
- Anticipated graduation date of Summer 2028.
- Strong programming fundamentals in any modern programming language.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in software engineering, cloud computing, data systems, or platform technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in collaborative teams and communicate clearly.
- Desire to learn new technologies and continuously improve.
- Curiosity about applying AI and emerging technologies to real-world problems.
- Self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset.
- CV must include expected graduation month/year and grade and must be submitted in PDF format.
