Responsibilities
- Research, implement, and deploy innovative machine learning techniques for logistics problems.
- Scale and transfer machine learning solutions across product use cases to improve decision-making.
- Build and launch data science applications supporting front-facing solutions.
- Develop performant ML models for forecasting, ETAs, pricing, and logistics optimization.
- Implement tools, data pipelines, and evaluation frameworks for developing and launching ML ideas.
- Collaborate with multifunctional teams and promote engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience in machine learning and real-time data streaming technologies for forecasting or logistics products.
- Strong Python coding and software engineering skills.
- Ability to independently solve complex problems and productize and deploy systems using cloud services.
- Strong background in microservices, event-driven architecture, serverless computing, and cloud architecture patterns.
- Experience deploying Kubernetes in production; Airflow, MLflow, Docker, and Flink experience is a plus.
- Experience operating real-time production systems at scale, handling millions of requests or transactions per day.
- Experience collaborating with multifunctional teams and driving best practices.
