Base Salary
$160k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build product features end-to-end, from web UI through distributed backend services
- Evaluate and integrate critical third-party software and infrastructure, including payments and mobility systems
- Automate and improve processes, simplify systems, and raise the quality bar
- Help shape Coast’s engineering culture
- Contribute to early technology and implementation decisions
- Collaborate with Product and User Experience to design, deliver, and operate features used by thousands of clients
Requirements
- 4–10+ years of experience working with strong engineering teams and consistently delivering quality software to production
- Substantial experience with server-side programming, databases, messaging, REST, APIs, and distributed systems
- Substantial modern web development experience with TypeScript and frameworks such as React, Vue, or Next.js
- Extensive experience collaborating in cross-functional agile teams with product and design
- Deep hands-on experience developing applications in the cloud, preferably AWS
- Proven ability to deliver complex, highly available, and scalable distributed systems
- Pragmatic, self-directed approach and ability to work with little oversight in a fast-paced environment
- Candidates must be located in NYC or the tri-state area
