Base Salary
$99k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design adaptable agentic AI architectures supporting multiple model providers, tool ecosystems, modalities, and deployment modes.
- Build reusable components for prompting, retrieval, orchestration, tool execution, memory management, and evaluation.
- Integrate LLMs, embeddings, RAG pipelines, structured outputs, long-context mechanisms, and multimodal workflows.
- Apply agentic patterns including tool calling, function calling, MCP, A2A, planning, delegation, recovery, guardrails, and human oversight.
- Design offline and online evaluation frameworks measuring correctness, robustness, safety, and business impact.
- Develop and continuously refresh structured and unstructured data pipelines for ingestion, cleaning, chunking, embedding, and indexing.
- Optimize AI models and workflows for cost, latency, reliability, scalability, and secure production deployment.
- Deploy AI services on AWS or equivalent platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless approaches.
- Apply automated testing, prompt and agent versioning, safe model rollouts, asynchronous programming, and event-driven patterns.
- Collaborate with clients to identify AI opportunities, define requirements, present solutions, lead workshops, and promote responsible AI practices.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in AI- or ML-focused roles.
- Experience with Python or another object-oriented programming language applied to AI/ML solution development.
- Experience designing and implementing production-grade generative or agentic AI applications.
- Experience with LangChain or equivalent orchestration frameworks, agent workflows, tool integration, and multi-provider model integration.
- Experience with RAG architectures, evaluation methodologies, experimentation workflows, and asynchronous or event-driven programming.
- Knowledge of AI data processing techniques involving text, audio, and multimodal data.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
- Preferred experience includes MCP, A2A, LangGraph, multi-agent patterns, model fine-tuning, prompt tuning, domain adaptation, or reinforcement learning from human or AI feedback.
- Preferred experience includes AI evaluation and safety testing, external tool and API integration, client-facing AI delivery, React, in-browser or edge AI execution, portable application packaging, Cursor, and Windsurf.
- A Secret clearance, a master’s degree in computer science, AI, or a related field, and AWS Machine Learning, Data Engineer, or Solutions Architect Certification are preferred.
