Base Salary
$89k - $168k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define test strategies, specifications, cases, and plans based on design and functional documentation.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for acceptance, functional, regression, scalability, and performance testing.
- Automate UI, CLI, and API testing and contribute to test tools, frameworks, and scripts.
- Perform feature, integration, and system testing before software releases.
- Analyze, track, verify, document, and communicate defects to support efficient fixes.
- Lead quality engineering discussions, promote testing best practices, and mentor QA engineers.
- Collaborate with engineering squads and tribes to develop and deliver new features and products.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience testing complex software products for large enterprise customers in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Deep understanding of QA processes, standards, tools, and technologies.
- Experience delivering complex features or products for web-based enterprise applications and automating UI, CLI, and API testing.
- Practical knowledge of one or two open-source automation tools and frameworks.
- Understanding of the full software development life cycle.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills and collaborative communication abilities.
- Familiarity with Selenium and Protractor is preferred.
- Experience using Python, Perl, PowerShell, or JavaScript for testing scripts is preferred.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, automation, code release, Test-Driven Development, SDLC, Agile software development, or SAFe is preferred.
- Must be a US citizen or full green card holder for the government-client position.
