Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
- Analyze application, business, and system issues and recommend and implement enhancements or solutions.
- Write basic code and scripts for design specifications and perform testing and debugging.
- Apply data analysis principles, data modeling techniques, and data governance practices to data-centric projects.
- Support software development lifecycle activities and assess risks, controls, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a Technical Data Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in financial services, regulatory reporting, or liquidity risk.
- Demonstrated expertise with Hadoop, Spark including PySpark and Scala Spark, Kafka, and cloud-based data platforms such as AWS S3 and Databricks.
- Experience with data modeling tools and techniques.
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis is highly desirable.
- Experience preparing data for AI/ML models and understanding core AI/ML concepts and workflows is highly desirable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of data analysis principles, methodologies, and data governance frameworks.
- Experience across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, especially for data-centric projects.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience, plus strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and deadline-management skills.
