Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain complex high-performance native iOS features and reusable SDK components using Swift.
- Lead technical design discussions, write technical specifications, and ensure codebase modularity, scalability, and maintainability.
- Establish engineering quality through code reviews, unit and UI testing, and continuous integration practices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, QA, and backend platform teams to deliver robust iOS solutions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and share technical best practices.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in development workflows, build systems, and testing processes.
- Track Apple platform and Swift developments and incorporate modern tools and frameworks where appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience in cloud, SaaS, or enterprise software environments.
- 5+ years of experience building production native iOS applications and reusable Swift libraries backed by cloud APIs.
- Experience with modern iOS architecture patterns and comprehensive unit and functional testing.
- Hands-on experience with Xcode, CI/CD automation, dependency management, and App Store publishing.
- Experience delivering complex technical initiatives iteratively within an Agile team.
- Preferred: experience developing, packaging, and distributing developer-facing iOS apps, SDKs, or binary frameworks such as XCFrameworks.
- Preferred: proficiency with Swift Async/Await and Combine, plus experience with SwiftUI and UIKit.
- Preferred: working knowledge of Objective-C and experience with OAuth/SSO integration, secure storage, and data encryption.
- Preferred: active iOS community involvement through blogging, open-source contributions, or conference speaking.
