Responsibilities
- Develop, run, and continuously refine modern, lean, scalable, and cost-effective cloud products for Abbott EPD.
- Translate business priorities around smart automation and advanced analytics into efficient, compliant, and scalable cloud platform requirements and implementations.
- Define and implement data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance standards for end-to-end data activities.
- Own end-to-end architecture across React Native, React JS, AWS backend services, GenAI modules, and databases.
- Design authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID, Cognito, SailPoint, Active Directory, and Lambda authorizers.
- Architect GenAI/RAG and agentic workflows using LangGraph.
- Set quality standards covering test frameworks, automation, and CI/CD quality gates.
- Own non-functional testing for performance, load, code quality, API security, and infrastructure security.
- Support Terraform-based DevOps deployment and oversee observability, cost control, latency, and security.
- Produce and maintain architecture and solution design documentation.
- Lead internal and external teams and manage vendors supporting cloud application and solution delivery.
- Work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data to extract information and identify relationships across disparate datasets.
Requirements
- At least 8–12 years of relevant working experience, ideally in a pharmaceutical environment.
- Experience managing internal and vendor teams in cloud applications and solutions architecture.
- Strong architectural skills for modern, lean, scalable cloud applications and cloud environments.
- Hands-on architecture experience with React Native, React JS, AWS services, and the AWS ecosystem.
- Experience with authentication and authorization using Entra, Cognito, SailPoint, and Lambda authorizers.
- Experience delivering GenAI/RAG solutions; LangGraph experience is a plus.
- Experience with Databricks, PostgreSQL, Amazon RDS, and DynamoDB.
- Quality engineering exposure to JMeter, BrowserStack, SonarQube, Akamai API security, and Prisma Cloud.
- Infrastructure-as-code and DevOps experience with Terraform.
- Strong understanding of information security principles and compliant data handling.
- High proficiency in at least one programming language, specifically JavaScript or Python.
- Experience leading external teams to implement solutions.
- Ability to understand business objectives and create cloud-based solutions that address them.
