Base Salary
$80k - $105k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop secure, high-quality software for new features and modifications to existing custom applications.
- Create technical designs, specifications, flowcharts, sequence diagrams, code comments, and other documentation.
- Write unit tests, participate in peer code reviews, and support QA reviews and testing activities.
- Analyze and remediate application, deployment, and production issues while improving software supportability.
- Collaborate with UX teams, customers, QA teams, third-party engineers, and cross-functional teams to refine requirements and deliver solutions.
- Contribute to coding guidelines, software development standards, SDLC adherence, operational excellence, and process improvement.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, training, or subject-matter-expert coursework when requested.
- Follow applicable bank policies, regulations, security requirements, and required training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field is preferred.
- 4–7 years of software industry experience is required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Visual Studio, .NET, and GitHub or other source control systems.
- Extensive knowledge of HTML5, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript.
- Experience with UI frameworks such as Bootstrap, AngularJS, or Blazor is preferred.
- Experience with SOA, APIs, and web services.
- Extensive experience using testing frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, or JUnit, along with standard build tools and version control systems.
- Intermediate knowledge of object-oriented programming, analysis, design, design patterns, and software development methodologies.
- Experience with Agile development practices using Scrum, Kanban, and/or Scrumban.
- Ability to work independently, lead collaborative sessions, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to comply with banking regulations and policies.
