Responsibilities

  • Conduct system-level GNC analysis for spacecraft development and on-orbit operations.
  • Develop or improve GNC software features and capabilities.
  • Build tools to analyze, calibrate, and operate on-orbit GNC subsystems.
  • Write, improve, and automate GNC performance and regression software tests.
  • Own an internship project from start to finish with mentorship from the GNC Engineering team.

Requirements

  • Complete classwork in software engineering and/or mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, applied physics, or electrical engineering/filtering/estimation.
  • Have programming skills in C++ and/or Python.
  • Demonstrate interest in spacecraft attitude estimation and control.
  • Previous internship or co-op experience is a plus.
  • Experience with hardware/software integration, mechatronics projects, attitude estimation or control, or technical project teams is a plus.
