Responsibilities
- Build, test, maintain, and document AI-enabled applications, workflows, prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and reusable accelerators.
- Develop Claude and other LLM applications using RAG, prompt and context engineering, structured outputs, tool use, APIs, and workflow orchestration.
- Support agentic AI solutions that use enterprise context and call approved tools or APIs to orchestrate business processes.
- Prepare data and documents for ingestion, chunking, embedding, retrieval, evaluation, and testing.
- Assess AI solution performance across accuracy, relevance, groundedness, reliability, latency, cost, safety, and user experience.
- Develop test cases, evaluation datasets, monitoring approaches, feedback loops, validation patterns, fallback handling, confidence thresholds, and escalation workflows.
- Apply responsible AI and security practices involving privacy, access controls, prompt-injection risks, safe tool execution, and human oversight.
- Collaborate on requirements gathering, solution design, sprint planning, code reviews, retrospectives, demonstrations, client implementations, and technical documentation.
- Research emerging AI technologies and contribute to Agent Packs, accelerators, reusable components, prompt libraries, evaluation assets, and product enhancements.
- Travel to clients and conferences as needed.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline.
- One to three years of relevant experience through internships, co-ops, research, freelance work, academic projects, or professional roles.
- Experience with one or more programming languages, preferably Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or similar languages.
- Foundational understanding of software engineering, APIs, databases, source control, and cloud-based applications.
- Exposure to generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, machine learning, data science, or automation concepts.
- Familiarity with context windows, token usage, embeddings, vector search, RAG, tool use/function calling, structured outputs, and model evaluation.
- Familiarity with Git, SQL, Docker, LLM APIs, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or cloud AI services.
- Foundational understanding of responsible AI, data privacy, model limitations, human oversight, and safe AI deployment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Preferred experience includes AI, automation, chatbot, workflow-based, or data-driven projects from coursework, research, internships, hackathons, or personal work.
- Preferred exposure includes Claude, the Anthropic API, Anthropic Console, Anthropic Academy, ServiceNow, cloud platforms, Model Context Protocol, secure API integration, and enterprise consulting.
