Base Salary
$173k - $259k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define architecture for the global Salesforce-based commerce, order management, data, and fulfillment platform.
- Build integration frameworks connecting Salesforce, SAP, Braintree, Avalara, and other enterprise systems.
- Design event-driven architectures for product drops, crowdfunding, digital items, and global fulfillment.
- Identify and implement AI/ML and automation use cases across personalization, search, merchandising, customer support, fraud detection, and fulfillment prediction.
- Partner with Data Science to move models from prototype to production and establish responsible AI monitoring standards.
- Define reliability goals, telemetry, observability, infrastructure-as-code, continuous delivery, testing, alerting, and deployment standards.
- Mentor engineers and technical leads across front-end, OMS, data, and platform teams.
- Lead technical design reviews and contribute to enterprise architecture and direct-to-consumer roadmap decisions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of engineering experience in large-scale eCommerce or platform systems.
- Verified experience building and connecting Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salesforce OMS, and enterprise middleware.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; CI/CD; and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and supporting their career growth.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to leadership.
- Preferred experience with SAP, Braintree, or complex order management systems.
- Preferred experience integrating AI/ML or automation frameworks into production systems.
- Preferred experience influencing senior collaborators and driving cross-team alignment.
