Base Salary
$165k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain end-to-end automated test suites for user workflows across UI, API, and back-end services.
- Implement and scale AI-assisted test coverage and generative test planning.
- Build and own daily smoke/build-acceptance tests for core workflows.
- Lead post-deployment testing activities, including production smoke tests.
- Design and implement regression tests for ML pipeline services.
- Build automated test coverage for WebGL-based 3D Web Viewer and Clinical UIs.
- Author clear test plans, protocols, and reports for regulated environments.
- Perform tool validation for test infrastructure and automation tooling.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to standardize API-level tests.
- Triage and root-cause failures across complex distributed systems.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for reliable automated test execution.
- Support quality-related audits and regulatory submissions.
- Mentor Test Engineers and assist in hiring as the team scales.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in software test engineering or quality engineering roles.
- Direct experience testing Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).
- Working knowledge of medical device QMS practices and applicable standards.
- Strong proficiency with Selenium and Playwright for UI automation.
- Experience designing and maintaining end-to-end automation frameworks.
- Experience authoring test plans and reports in a regulated environment.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted testing tools and techniques.
- Solid programming skills in Python and another mainstream language.
- Experience with API testing tools and basic familiarity with contract testing.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills across distributed systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
