Responsibilities
- Launch projects through hands-on implementation and evaluate existing infrastructure.
- Collaborate on building a technical roadmap that supports client business goals.
- Shape and build Thoughtworks' cloud and infrastructure practice.
- Ensure continuous delivery and evolution of infrastructure and applications.
- Monitor and ensure technical expectations of deliverables are met.
- Provide expertise in DevOps, cloud, and infrastructure engineering.
- Establish partnerships with client engineering leadership.
- Suggest innovative solutions to current constraints and policies.
Requirements
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and application server administration.
- Familiarity with DevOps philosophies, Agile methods, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with monitoring and observability systems like Grafana.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, and application hosting.
- Proficiency in scripting and building Linux/Windows servers or container clusters.
- Experience with CI/CD tools across different tech stacks.
- Understanding of security concerns and approaches to mitigate them.
- Bonus points for experience with unit testing and automated testing tools.
