Base Salary
$110k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship components of multi-agent systems and RAG pipelines for portfolio company engagements.
- Contribute to prompt engineering, tool design, and deployment for production AI systems.
- Write and run evaluations, defining success criteria before implementation.
- Translate client requirements into technical tasks with support from the delivery pod.
- Build observability into shipped systems so quality is measurable.
- At the Senior level, independently own an agentic pipeline, RAG system, or evaluation framework end to end.
- Present architecture decisions to internal and client stakeholders.
Requirements
- Solid Python and/or TypeScript/React fundamentals and the ability to reason about framework behavior.
- Hands-on exposure to LLM application development, including RAG, tool use, prompt engineering, or agent orchestration.
- Genuine experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly in a client-facing, consulting-style environment.
- Preferred: finance or private equity exposure, including FP&A, GL data, or ERP systems.
- Preferred: familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, DSPy, or similar orchestration frameworks.
- Preferred: public technical work such as a GitHub repository, side project, or blog post.
- Preferred: prior internship, co-op, or junior client- or user-facing experience.
