Base Salary
$128k - $192k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop Python software drivers and interfaces for hardware systems including PCBAs, avionics, sensors, and automated test equipment.
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and repeatable automated test frameworks for aircraft components and subsystems.
- Develop and evolve pipelines for continuous integration, automated validation, and deployment of test stand software.
- Build and maintain scalable test infrastructure and shared software libraries.
- Automate provisioning and configuration management for test stands and test environments.
- Develop real-time monitoring and data visualization tools for test execution and system debugging.
- Create and manage databases for logging test results.
- Participate in design and code reviews and promote testability, observability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, and QA teams on aircraft validation workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Mastery of fundamental computer science topics.
- Advanced Python software development skills.
- Experience with Linux, Bash scripting, and networking.
- Ability to configure and maintain small computer networks.
- Experience with complex software development projects, including experience gained through internships, jobs, clubs, teams, or personal projects.
- Demonstrated ownership of project outcomes and delivery of strong results.
- Preferred: comfort working with circuit boards, motors, and sensors.
- Preferred: experience writing drivers for electronics test equipment.
- Preferred: strong engineering knowledge across electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, programming, physics, and mathematics.
- Preferred: adaptability and ability to innovate under pressure.
