Responsibilities
- Deliver functional and technical Workday enhancements supporting Salesforce’s existing implementation.
- Gather business requirements with internal Workday teams, business users, and third-party integrators.
- Participate in product and feature design sessions with developers, designers, product managers, and business systems analysts.
- Configure and develop Workday functionality and integrations throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Build scalable and maintainable test automation using tools such as Kainos.
- Participate in code reviews and diagnose, track, and resolve quality issues.
- Create test strategies, test plans, test cases, execute tests, and report defects.
- Communicate project status and risks to the team and manager.
Requirements
- Workday certification in one or more functional areas, including HCM Core, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Time & Absence, or Recruiting, is preferred.
- At least 4 years of Workday HRMS and Workday integrations implementation experience is required.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday architecture, configuration, and integration is required.
- Working knowledge of Workday Security, Business Processes, Reports, Calc Fields, the Integrations framework, Studio, and BIRT is required.
- Experience leading full life-cycle Workday implementations is required.
- Knowledge of data modeling and relational database languages such as SQL or SOQL is required.
- Working knowledge of SOAP and REST Web Services is required.
- Experience defining testing strategy, test plans, test cases, test execution, and defect reporting for Workday or enterprise HR applications is required.
- Business analysis, requirements gathering, communication, and Agile/Scrum experience are required.
- A related technical degree is required.
- Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, benefit enrollment, compensation and promotion cycles, MuleSoft troubleshooting, and SaaS or PaaS architectures is advantageous.
