Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Salesforce CPQ product catalogs, configurable bundles, pricing models, discount schedules, product rules, quote templates, and approval workflows.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into Salesforce solutions while handling business analysis, development, quality assurance, and delivery responsibilities.
- Build Salesforce customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura, Visualforce, Salesforce Flows, SOQL, and SOSL.
- Design and implement Salesforce integrations with ERP, billing, finance, provisioning, and enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, named credentials, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and Bulk/Streaming APIs.
- Own CPQ renewals, amendments, co-terming, ordering, and contract lifecycle flows.
- Manage Salesforce deployments with SFDX, Git-based source control, and CI/CD tooling.
- Provide production support for the CPQ stack, investigate pricing and integration issues, and drive durable remediation.
- Write unit tests, conduct peer code reviews, and use AI development tools in the daily workflow.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of total Salesforce experience, including at least 4 years dedicated to Salesforce CPQ.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce CPQ configuration, advanced pricing, product rules, discount schedules, quote templates, and order, contract, renewal, and amendment flows.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, asynchronous processing, governor-limit-aware design, Lightning Web Components, Aura, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce Flows.
- Hands-on experience designing reliable, observable, and secure Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, named credentials, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and Bulk/Streaming APIs.
- Experience with Git, SFDX, and modern Salesforce CI/CD tooling.
- Ability to own features from stakeholder discovery through production deployment and hypercare and collaborate across integration, data platform, and DevOps teams.
- Required certifications: Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, and Salesforce Certified Administrator.
- Preferred certifications include Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Sales Cloud Consultant, Revenue Cloud Consultant Accredited Professional, Platform App Builder, Agentforce Specialist, and Application or System Architect.
- Preferred experience includes Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Salesforce Billing, subscription and recurring-revenue models, CLM tools, ERP integrations, channel or partner quoting, tax engines, payment systems, and AI development tools.
