Base Salary
$204k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the Render Key/Value fleet.
- Take end-to-end ownership of full-stack projects.
- Collaborate with design, product, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Evolve and mature the Key/Value product as it scales in usage and complexity.
- Develop new Key/Value product capabilities.
- Participate in team planning, roadmapping, and goal-setting.
- Help shape team culture and engineering practices as the company scales.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience shipping software.
- Experience collaborating with product and design stakeholders.
- Strong ownership and pragmatic decision-making skills.
- Comfort working in a distributed system.
- Experience operating a key/value datastore at scale.
- Familiarity with modern tooling for software build and deployment processes.
- Experience across the stack and ability to work collaboratively and independently are preferred.
- Strong understanding of web frameworks, APIs, and databases, plus experience with multiple programming languages, is preferred.
- Experience with product-driven growth and modern enterprise audiences is preferred.
- Experience with Go, TypeScript, React, Kubernetes, Postgres, Terraform, or Temporal is preferred.
