Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable backend solutions using TypeScript.
- Execute technical projects, define appropriate solutions, and apply software development best practices.
- Own technical deliveries and meet project deadlines.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code-quality standards.
- Develop and maintain robust internal and external APIs.
- Integrate and optimize AWS cloud services using serverless architectures.
- Apply domain-driven design principles to enterprise solution modeling.
- Design and maintain distributed and event-driven systems.
- Design and manage NoSQL databases, including DynamoDB and MongoDB.
- Implement automated unit and integration testing.
- Participate in agile planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Mentor new and junior engineers and contribute to technical learning.
- Propose technical improvements and participate in code optimization and innovation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- More than three years of backend software development experience.
- Strong TypeScript and API development experience.
- Knowledge of AWS and serverless tools including Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code frameworks such as CDK or SAM.
- Strong automated unit and integration testing practices.
- Understanding of distributed and event-driven architectures using SNS, SQS, Kafka, and EventBridge.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases and efficient data modeling.
- Experience applying domain-driven design principles.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and Scrum or Kanban.
- Analytical problem-solving, collaboration, communication, attention to code quality, mentoring, and willingness to learn new technologies.
