Base Salary
$80k - $90k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to develop software solutions that meet business and customer needs.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications, services, and APIs.
- Contribute to front-end, back-end, or full-stack development initiatives.
- Participate in code reviews and improve code quality based on feedback.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects.
- Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to manage application data.
- Support application development and deployment in cloud environments.
- Write clean, maintainable, and documented code following engineering best practices.
- Participate in Agile activities including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Use AI-powered development tools and automation to improve productivity, code quality, testing, documentation, and problem-solving.
- Explore incorporating AI and machine learning capabilities into software solutions under senior guidance.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge across languages, frameworks, databases, cloud technologies, testing, and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, information technology, or a related technical field.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience with at least one modern programming language such as C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python through coursework, projects, internships, or personal development.
- Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and modern software development practices.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Basic understanding of relational and/or NoSQL database concepts.
- Experience using Git or another version control system.
- Interest in AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled development tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Preferred: work, internship, co-op, academic project, open-source contribution, or personal project experience related to software development.
- Preferred: exposure to React, Angular, or Vue.js; .NET, Java, Node.js, or Python; cloud-native development; automated testing; AI and machine learning concepts; AI-assisted development tools; cloud-based AI services; and third-party API integrations.
