2027Y Campus- Linux Software Test Engineer
NXP SemiconductorsResponsibilities
- Develop, port, and maintain tests for Linux BSP, graphics, and machine learning functionality on i.MX reference boards.
- Evaluate software functionality, compatibility, performance, and stability on i.MX chips and reference boards.
- Design, develop, or use GenAI tools for automated testing and continuous integration testing.
- Review design documents, reference manuals, and user guides.
- Support development teams and key customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of embedded operating systems such as Linux and Android, Linux device driver models, and the Linux kernel.
- Programming skills in C/C++, Python, and Java.
- Familiarity with Linux commands and cross-compilation.
- Preferred experience in Linux device driver, system, or application development.
- Preferred understanding of QA and test methodologies, test cycles, and processes.
- Preferred experience with shell scripting and web system design using technologies such as Python, PHP, Ruby, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Familiarity with continuous integration systems such as Jenkins or Bamboo is a plus.
- GPU knowledge and experience with GPU development environments are a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and self-motivation skills.
