Responsibilities
- Architect, automate, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
- Containerize applications with Docker and extend Kubernetes capabilities through custom tooling and controllers.
- Develop automated GitLab CI pipelines for reliable, frequent deployment of backend microservices.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, and PagerDuty.
- Support live production services, lead incident response, and conduct root-cause analysis.
- Operate and optimize CDN and edge-delivery infrastructure, including caching, configuration, performance, and production traffic troubleshooting.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in web or backend software development and experience running and supporting live production services.
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language: Golang, Python, or Ruby.
- Hands-on proficiency with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Helm.
- At least 3 years of experience with GitLab CI, Git, and observability tools including Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, and PagerDuty.
- Experience with a data warehouse such as Snowflake, Redshift, or Spark.
- Experience operating and optimizing CDN or edge-delivery infrastructure such as Akamai or CloudFront.
