Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work with customers on Lustre deployments to diagnose problems, profile workloads, tune performance, and optimize deployments for Google Cloud Platform.
- Add Lustre features that integrate with Google Cloud technologies and support customer AI/ML workloads.
- Collaborate with GKE, GCS, Vertex AI, GCE, and other partner teams to optimize the Google Cloud stack end to end.
- Measure Lustre performance, investigate bottlenecks, and implement performance improvements.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience programming in C++.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
- 5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Preferred: Experience with parallel file systems.
Benefits
- US base pay of $207000 - $300000, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
