QA Automation Engineer
BitdefenderResponsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for GravityZone features, APIs, and integrations.
- Develop and enhance GravityZone workflows, automations, and platform components using Java.
- Execute automated and manual tests covering functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Create and maintain test plans, scenarios, and testing documentation.
- Identify, document, and track defects while collaborating with developers on resolution.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to define requirements and test coverage.
- Troubleshoot issues found during testing and validation.
- Improve test coverage, automation practices, product quality, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Basic knowledge of software development principles and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with or strong academic knowledge of Java.
- Understanding of functional, regression, integration, and API testing concepts.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools, Git, version control, and cloud platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience with Playwright, Selenium, or similar test automation tools is preferred.
- Experience with Bitbucket, Jira, Bamboo, and Confluence is preferred.
- Interest in AI/ML technologies and integrating LLMs into operational workflows is preferred.
