Responsibilities
- Own and drive frontend delivery for AI Platform web experiences, including requirements translation, scalable UI implementation, acceptance criteria, and release consistency.
- Define and improve frontend quality baselines, CI/CD quality gates, test coverage standards, accessibility measures, performance budgets, bundle-size thresholds, and release-readiness criteria.
- Design and implement frontend architecture, reusable component frameworks, state-management patterns, and REST/GraphQL integrations.
- Analyze rendering efficiency, bundle size, network usage, browser compatibility, and other frontend runtime behaviors to improve user experience and reliability.
- Establish frontend engineering standards, reusable patterns, code-review practices, testing conventions, and design-system alignment.
- Build AI platform UI capabilities integrating LLM services, model-serving APIs, orchestration workflows, retrieval/search, and other integration layers.
- Assess release risks and provide engineering insights for production readiness using monitoring signals, incident learnings, and continuous improvement actions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building modern web applications with React and TypeScript, preferably for enterprise-scale or complex data-heavy platforms.
- 5+ years of strong engineering fundamentals in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript, including component design, state management, and asynchronous data flows.
- Hands-on experience delivering maintainable UI architecture and high-quality user experiences.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with REST and/or GraphQL backend services, including authentication and authorization, error handling, caching, and resilience patterns.
- Ability to apply AI-driven approaches and coding assistants to improve productivity, code quality, testing, debugging, and engineering practices.
- Preferred experience building frontend experiences for AI/ML platforms, including LLM services, GenAI applications, model-serving APIs, RAG workflows, vector search, and AI orchestration or agent tooling.
- Preferred understanding of AI-enabled UX and performance risks, including latency variation, streaming responses, long-running tasks, partial failures, timeouts, prompt workflows, and evaluation or feedback loops.
- Preferred experience with web observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, AppDynamics, OpenTelemetry, and Real User Monitoring.
- Preferred experience with GCP, AWS, Azure, or private cloud environments and frontend deployment concerns involving CDN, caching, edge routing, and environment configuration.
- Knowledge of API gateways, OAuth/OIDC concepts, rate limiting, throttling, resilient request patterns, feature flags, configuration management, safe rollouts, release governance, and environment management.
- Experience building reusable component libraries or design systems, shared linting and build tooling, and quality dashboards.
- Relevant certifications or structured training in frontend engineering, cloud, DevOps, accessibility, or AI/ML/GenAI are advantageous.
