Staff Software Engineer, Developer Experience & Workflows - VALORANT
Riot GamesResponsibilities
- Create tools and systems that improve developer experience and efficiency.
- Partner with organization-wide stakeholders to address development pain points and improve VALORANT development.
- Influence software engineering best practices.
- Develop sustainable, testable, and robust solutions that support a consistent player experience across platforms.
- Mentor more junior team members.
- Break down and execute multi-month development efforts.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including delivering live or shipped products at scale.
- 2+ years of professional experience with C++.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience collaborating on cross-team development efforts of 3+ months, including requirements gathering, planning, and release.
- Experience shipping Unreal Engine games is desired.
- Experience building developer workflows is desired.
